the huge membraphone drum instrument from South Asia. Those enchanting beats are enough
to conjure up the sights and smells of the Durga Puja.
Conceiving such theme of extraordinary association of the Dhak with puja, the frontal of
7th year's puja-pandal of new town 1B Sarbojanin is designed with "Pancha-dhak" assembly.
Here five number of dhaks are arrayed in series. The central one is the biggest and used as entry
to the panel right through its womb while the two at each side of it are successively lower in
sizes to impart a magnificent look. This facade look will surely evoke an aesthetic sensation in
the eyes of connoisseurs.This year (8th year) will be designed something new......"
