NEWTOWN ACTION AREA IB SARBOJANIN DURGOTSAV COMMITTEE

The first Durga Puja was initiated by the residents in the year 2010 headed by the Durga Puja Committee. As such, the head count in that year was quite sparse but inspite of the low number, the puja was a grand success. Till then, the next few years have been a saga of achievement and improvement. Every year,the Puja Committee turns up with some modifications which lead to a grand success in terms of fame and acheivement. Till now, all the blocks are united to celebrate One Sarbojanin Durgotsav bannered under the Newtown Action Ares Sarbojanin Durgotsav Committee. We hope to move several steps forward in this part in the upcoming years.
