ACTION AREA I B WELFARE ASSOCIATION

We have observed the number of Co-Operative Building as well as Individual Buildings unable to start / left incomplete due to lack of Basic Infrastructure as well as Unscrupulous Contractor, then we formed the Welfare Association in the name of NEW TOWN 1B BLOCK WELFARE ASSOCIATION, Reg No SIL/70803 dated 07.05.2010 Under West Bengal Society Regulation Act with the Vision to co-ordinate with WBHIDCO/ NKDA time to time and to solve the various issues of the Residents also to make social bonding among all residents of Action Area 1B. We also started Cultural Wing under our Association. It is also known to all Concern that Action Area 1, has been divided in four parts like AA-1A, AA -1B, AA -1C and AA-1D We, AA-1B residents Celebrated "SARBOJANIN DURGA PUJA" in the year 2010, 1st time in the Satellite City in India ,since then every year we are celebrating Bengals Greatest Festival as well as Kalipuja, Lakshmi Puja, Dolyatra, Bijaya Sammilani , Rabindra Nazrul Sandhya and day by day our social bounding increased through various cultural & Social activities.
        This year we are also going to celebrate Bengali New Years Day,Independance day, Rabindra-Nazrul Sandhya and 2nd Annual Sports. It is also Known to all every year we have received either Best Puja or 2nd Best, This year(Glorious 7th year) we have received 2 Best Prizes Organized by NKDA From the inception of our welfare association, we are coordinating with WBHIDCO/ NKDA Management in all aspect, so that the Infrastructure Development of Action Area 1B could take place at the earliest and Basic Civic Amenities could be made available to the residents and plot holders, without which it is difficult for anybody to settle in NEW TOWN However we are keeping in touch with different authorities of WBHIDCO and NKDA from time to time. We are also happy to note that the authorities are also taking keen interest and co-operating with us for doing the needful as per as possible
